Plastics Recycling Show Europe, 29-30 March 2017, RAI Amsterdam
Visitors can now register online to attend the Plastics Recycling Show Europe (PRS), the free-to-attend pan-European exhibition and conference taking place at the new venue of the RAI Amsterdam on 29-30 March 2017. Register at: www.prseventeurope.com
The event, organised by Crain Communications and Plastics News Europe, will be officially opened on 29 March by Gerben-Jan Gerbrandy, MEP and committee member for the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety.
The Plastics Recycling Show conference will feature sessions on key plastic materials including PET, PVC, HDPE and LDPE, as well as others looking at plastics recycling industry challenges, the plastics recycling process and Design, Technology and Innovation.
Karmenu Vella, DG Environment & Maritime Affairs and Fisheries at the European Commission will open the conference via video message. Prominent industry speakers at the event are set to include Jason Ord, Director, Environmental Responsibility, Europe, Middle East, Africa at Hewlett-Packard and Gian de Belder, Principle Scientist (Packaging R&D/Sustainability) at Procter & Gamble. Ton Emans, President of Plastics Recyclers Europe will chair a session looking at the circular economy.
More than 70 companies and organisations will be showcasing the latest advances in plastics recycling in the exhibition. A broad cross section of the industry will be represented including plastics recycling machinery and equipment suppliers, plastic material suppliers and compounders, handling and logistics services, pre-processors, plastics recyclers, waste management specialists, industry associations and project management consultants. Industry leaders at PRS include Erema, Vecoplan, Tomra and Lindner, as well as Suez, British Polythene Industries, Albis Plastics, Veolia and Recyclix.
“The Plastics Recycling Show Europe is the first Pan-European exhibition and conference dedicated solely to plastics recycling,” said Matt Barber, PRS event director at event organiser Crain Communications. “We have had very strong interest in the event from exhibitors, speakers, visitors and delegates from across Europe and look forward to welcoming all parts of the European plastics recycling community to the show at the Amsterdam RAI at the end of March.”
Industry body Plastics Recyclers Europe (PRE) continues its strong support as partner for the exhibition and conference. Other industry bodies supporting the event include the European Association of Plastics Recycling & Recovery Organisation (EPRO), European Plastics Converters, Petcore Europe, Plastics Europe and Vinyl Plus.
